  • Is lumen.hr really DATEV-compatible?
    Yes. We deliver DATEV-Lodas CSV in UTF-8 with BOM, ready for your payroll. In production since launch.
  • Where is my data stored?
    The Lumen application and database run on Hetzner servers in Germany, at the Nuremberg and Falkenstein locations. For notification emails we use Postmark in the EU region Dublin. More details in our privacy policy and the data processing agreement.
  • Does this work for shift operations with NFC terminals?
    Yes. Datafox terminals are natively supported — HTTPS push with SHA-256-signed API keys.
  • How long does onboarding take?
    Seven-step onboarding wizard. Ready to use immediately, no customization project required.
  • What happens if working-hours-act limits are exceeded?
    The traffic light already flags possible issues at clock-in — for example regarding working time, breaks or rest periods. Critical situations become visible early and can be reviewed before they only surface at month-end close.
  • Is it suitable for small teams?
    Starter plan up to 25 employees. Web-based clock-in, no hardware required, flexible billing.
  • How do I migrate from my existing solution?
    Migration depends on the existing system and the data available. We jointly review which data can be migrated and how to prepare the transition sensibly.
